This is the classic gingko leaf design, an Arts and Crafts essential, painted in green and dark gold. Shown here on a table lamp, this shade shape and stencil is also beautiful as a bridge lamp shade. tablelamp shades
OCTAGON lampshade
Stencil: Embossed Leather
This is an octagonal shade in white/silver mica ornamented with the Embossed Leather stencil.

This wide shade does evoke the Arts and Crafts Era. It is stenciled in two colors to create a Celtic style border on the outside edge. The pattern was taken directly from a leather bookcover of the period.

The eight sided construction of this shade was taken directly from an existing Art Deco, circa 1925-1930's lampshade. The lady's design was adapted from a set of metal bookends, also of the Deco era.
